Thank you so much! The entry Cookiegal had me uncheck, hpqSRMon, is still unchecked. Click the Estimated Ink Level tab. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times using the latest software on the HP website, and I've tried installing it with the original disk that came with the printer but nothing seems To do this, open Windows Explorer and browse to the temp folder and find a folder that's called something like 7zXXXXXX.

What I believe this is happening because of incorrect fileassociation for the default program.
