Thank you! OR When it asks you to install cd, put in your appropriate install cd (xp vista or the windows 7 cd)and it will reinstall the drivers. Be very careful not to remove anything else, restart your computer and the issue should be resolved, at least it worked for me. This solution worked!! have a peek here

Solutioncenter.msi Windows 7 This will prevent the message which looks for the CD everytime when is started. Solutioncenter.msi Keeps Trying To Install Some new computers that have Windows 7 installed may also require this update out of the box depending on when the Operating System and supporting programs were loaded onto the machine.

In an effort to speed things up I got rid of some startup fluff and HP's software that did such important things as tell me when I turned off the printer, I opened my HP Solution Center (printer control program) and no more errors. Huge thanks!
