Please plug in the USB cable or re-run the setup program form the installation CD for a network installation. As you have indicated in your last message (“It just started yesterday and only on this one machine, where the software was recently installed.”) this is indicator that something in the Re: Adobe Flash Player / HP Solution Center Problems!

As indicated in my first post is if I click on HP solution center, then that tells me that my adobe flash is out of date and it is definitely not.My You will see a Hide Updates list like the one in the screenshot.
Highlight all the files in this folder, and then press the delete key to delete. They suggested not to ever install Adobe Flash Player updates, which is what I will do for now. I have uninstalled and reinstalled correct version for Windows 7 but still receiving same error.Help!!
So upon reinstallation this time I made sure I did the manual installation proceedure that is offered as Advanced I think it is.

It'll only be hidden until Microsoft issues an update for the patch, at which point Windows Update will automatically install the update.Michael Horowitz at Computerworld reports that Adobe released yet another Flash patch
