The funny thing is that Photosmart Essential has not been unistalled, but the system doesn't try to reinstall it anymore.
It said, "Photosmart Essential is already installed, do you want to uninstall it?" At this point I threw caution to the wind and answered, "Yes".

I was anxious to share with you all that I did resolve my issue last night after carefully following the steps I mentioned above.
So check each folder under Products if you find the Product Name that keeps popping-up delete the folder and that will resolve the issue or you may use Ctrl + Find Remember if you have a USB cable to wait until the uninstall prompts you to remove the cord as well as wait for the install to tell you to plug it Open a Word document and right-click in a blank space and paste the directions in there and print it off so that you have a hard copy that you can re-read He simply uninstalled everything from the control panel but the printer driver.
I am using WindowsXP and Norton as well as SpeedyPro. It doesn't bother you again. Also, I previously noticed HPPhotosmart said I had some photos but it would not access them. Check This Out I can tell you my Hp 5240 All in one is connected by a USB.
